i know it's been awhile since my last post, but the last few weekends have been so busy! on friday the 12th, jamie and i went to his sister's highschool graduation. man, it was so chaotic! we got there early, so i was able to finish a dan brown book i've been reading. i love that author! the highlight of the graduation was jamie's sister getting up in the middle of the ceremony to use the bathroom, lol. other than all the ghetto hoodrats being rude there, it was fun. afterwards, we went to joe's crab shack to eat. man, if you want to embarrass someone for a special occasion, take them there. i have pictures and video but i have not posted them yet. stay tuned.

the next two weekends(including father's day) were spent visiting with my family. i got to see my niece who is getting so big and has a definite personality now. i had so much fun seeing my sister and kylee. she also had so much fun with uncle jamie. she has a great smile, but gives them on her own terms. she is a fast crawler now, but seems bored with it now, seeing that she is already trying to stand and walk. she takes after me!!! i was a determined little tyke myself! anyway, much silliness ensued in the higdon home. i taught my niece how to say bat and helped her sleep with this annoying musical clock that's in the living room. it's amazing. she'll be throwing the biggest fit and that clock will calm her down immediately. i would take that clock everywhere i went if i were her mother. one afternoon, debbie put her down for nap and kylee let the whole world know that she didnt like that. i took the clock off the wall and held it to the door and she quieted down. good times.

now, i can't wait for the 4th of july!!! best holiday ever! my best friends, diane and adam are coming down and we're going to watch fireworks from a battleship that's on the bay! woohoo!!!
