so, where to start...well, on friday we went to seaworld again after work. that night, it was supposed to close at 7:30. as 7:30 approached, we noticed that people were going into the sea lion stadium and we wondered what was going on. there wasn't supposed to be a show around closing. we were then approached by a sea world employee and we found out that there was a special pass holder summer preview night. sea world would be previewing all their night shows, which meant the park didn't close until 11:00pm! it was so awesome. the sea lion show was hilarious. after that, we went to the "shamu rocks!" show and even though it was 9 something at night and we were freezing cold, we sat in the soak zone OFCOURSE! there wasn't too many people sitting in the soak zone, but GO BIG OR GO HOME! it's amazing the power a whale tale has. on to saturday...
so i had high hopes for saturday. during the week i had been successful at the dmv in changing my name. i hoped for the same success at the post office so that i could get my passport. NOPE. apparently, i was given the wrong information about what i needed in order to get my passport and now i have to wait for my new license in order to get my passport and that means i have to try to make ANOTHER almost impossible-to- get- appointment. LAME. i was so upset. then we decided to go to sea world again. on our way there, we were rear ended on the freeway off-ramp, while at a red light. the kid behind us obviously wasn't paying attention and hit us. not really any damage to our car. i'm a little sore, but we're both okay. poor kid was so freaked out that he cried. he had been driving his parents' car and there was damage to the front. yeah, good luck kid. sea world was fun though. when we got there, we caught some people we know with something they shouldn't have, lol. naughty naughty! then, we watched the orcas (killer whales) for awhile. one of them kept staring at me and then we watched the baby orca spit water and fish at the birds. it was so funny watching her play. after seaworld, we pigged out for the rest of the night. first, we went to "seau's the restaurant," which is owned by a former san diego charger. the wings are sooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo good. they were thickly breaded and we got the ones with the spicy sweet island glaze. then we shared the pizza which was awesome. after seau's, we say the new movie, "up," which is really touching and funny. way to go disney/pixar! after the movie, the pigging out continued at ruby's diner, where jamie and i shared the hickory burger(cheese burger with bacon AND onion rings and all the fixings on one burger-sinfully yummy in the tummy) AND we both had malts-jamie had the peanut butter cup malt and i had the black cherry malt. needless to say, we both felt like we were going to explode.
then on sunday, i was cleaning the bedroom. i put the heavy ottoman on the bed (you know,to get it out of the way. where else was i gonna put it?) only for it to fall over...onto my foot. i screamed bloody murder. my foot looked like it had a golf ball growing out of it...good times.
