sand castle weekend

this weekend, we attended the us open sandcastle competition in imperial beach, which is just south of san diego. people from all over the country come and compete. there was some pretty interesting sculptures, but i have to say-it was hotter than hell!!! i was dying and there was just too many people visiting that tiny beach community. some lady even bumped into me and tried to win a yelling match against me. PUH-LEASE. bring it. anyway, here are some sculptures: welcome!
